Beautiful cottage with lots of information from the owner, books to read, comfortable and clean. Ample parking for 2 cars. Well stocked kitchen with pantry and logs for the log burner in the lounge. Very long and narrow roads but this cannot be avoided and the views are wonderful. The patio door could possibly have a hook back to keep the door open if windy in warm weather? Other than this a perfect stay. Thanks to Simon who provided a ramp to the front door step for wheelchair access.

The condition, standard and layout of the lodge was second to none. Although Cotswold Park Lodge is a smaller property it never felt cramped or confined, even with 5 occupants. Simon and LJ were accommodating, polite and great hosts, especially when the start to our holiday didn't exactly go to plan they were very flexible and understanding. Highly recommended.

Location and setting is beautiful - remote and peaceful but easy access to main routes. Comfortable beds, well -equipped kitchen and facilities. Nothing obvious extra that we could have wanted.

We found the lodge very comfortable. We loved the space, which meant that, although we spent a lot of time indoors we never felt cramped.
The bedding was delicious, but Louise and I found the quilt too heavy and warm and we removed it and put a grey bedspread in a quilt cover.
We all felt that the shower would be be better if it had a shelf.
We loved quiet and being surrounded by lovely countryside.

How lucky we were, to be able to spend our holidays in this cosy and high-quality equipped cottage. The house is very quiet (waking up by the sounds of bird and sheeps) yet very central in the wonderful cotswolds, all sights can be reached quickly.
The owners are always available for questions, otherwise you are on your own and can enjoy the house including the great terrace to the fullest.
We’ve spent 2 wonderful relaxed weeks there and will definitely book the park lodge again, when we visit the cotswold again.

The cottage is lovely. Very spacious but with a cosy sitting room - especially when the fire is lit. Very well equipped and immaculately clean. Nice, faded elegance. We managed the circuitous corridors with care in the electric wheelchair though the improvised ramp into the house was a bit difficult. A purpose built one would ensure wheelchair users could come and go more easily. Otherwise, all was lovely.

The cottage was cosy and comfy. We would happily come back. The only regular complaint was that we couldn't always watch the hawks flying over the trees while we were at the kitchen table because the rose bush was so big. Hardly a show-stopper!!

The Lodge had everything we needed - particularly enjoyed the garden and views over the fields ( who knew watching sheep could be so relaxing!). Very comfortable with everything we needed. The personal touch of Simon meeting us in person was a nice touch .

The views from the cottage were beautiful, every window you looked out of had a lovely view, it was peaceful and inside was beautifully decorated, very clean and had everything you needed. The beds were extremely spacious and comfortable! I would highly recommend for all who would like somewhere quiet to retreat, it was perfect for our family and the children wanted to move the cottage and the garden back home! ( so did we!) Also the owner Simon was very good at communicating and was very friendly, he made us feel extremely welcome. Thank you for a lovely stay we hope to return in the future.
